Takeru Sato Receives Praises from Hollywood Director Tim Burton
Japanese actor Takeru Sato (Bloody Monday, Kamen Raider, and Haruma Miura BFF) had the chance to interview hotshot Hollywood Director Tim Burton when he was in Tokyo. Tim Burton was in Tokyo to promote his latest Johnny Depp collab, “Dark Shadows”.
Takeru was thrilled to interview Burton because he was a big fan of the Director’s works, Burton is known for making quirky-themed movies where most of which starred Johnny Depp. Burton expressed his desire to be able to shoot a movie in Japan since he viewed Japan to be as quirky and odd as his past movies.
Takeru also had the chance to show Burton the theatrical trailer of his upcoming movie, “Rorouni Kenshin”. The director has nothing but praises for Takeru and even said that it will be a nice birthday present if he will be able to watch Rorouni Kenshin. Burton’s birthday falls on the official movie release of Takeru’s film, Aug 25th.
Before the end of the interview, Takeru gave Burton an action figure of Kenshin Himura.

KAT-TUN’s Kamenashi Kazuya will have his first solo movie due for released in Spring next year. The movie will be called “It’s me, It’s me” (Ore, Ore). It is based from Tomoyuki Hoshino’s bestselling novel of the same title.
Kamenashi will play a scam artist, who will do the “ore-ore scam”, by calling an older person, pretends to be a relative, and tries to con money from that person. However, as Kamenashi goes on pretending to be someone else, he found himself being pulled into the life of the person he pretends to be, while someone else tries to take his own identity from him.
The story explores the meaning of identity in our today’s society, Kamenashi is expected to assume 25 different characters with no regard in age or gender.
“It’s me, It’s me” will be released on Spring 2013.
